”I studied science and technology in upper secondary school, but through various part-time jobs I discovered early on that hospitality was where I belonged. I enjoyed the work and was given responsibility from the start, but it wasn’t until I joined Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers that everything fell into place. My role in Front Office at Gothia Towers was my first job in a hotel, and I loved it from day one. The guests, the technology, my colleagues, the whole destination… honestly, all of it! After a year, I was encouraged to apply for a supervisory role, and since then I’ve continued to grow. Today, I spend half of my time working with Guest Relations, and I’m constantly inspired by the opportunities to learn and develop within the organisation. The best part of my job is the relationship I build with our guests. Taking the time to understand each person’s individual needs and seeing the difference it makes is incredibly rewarding. You can turn someone’s day around, and that’s a great feeling.
